Weird Experiences Inside an Elevator

A Glitch In Time

Moving without Moving

This happened about 10 years ago when me and my family went on vacation to Myrtle Beach SC. We was staying at a really nice resort right on the beach (Our room was on the 8th floor)...
It was the second day we were there, My mom and me were the first ones up and we was ready to go do stuff. We ended up deciding to just go on and go down to the beach after everyone else woke up. They were taking so long to get ready we really didn't want to wait. So we leave the room, walk to the elevator. We get in, hit the 1st floor button, the doors close. The elevator drops. The doors open. We step off look around confused look at each other and are speechless, we're somehow still on the 8th floor. We're both 100 percent for sure that the elevator went down we both heard it and felt it drop. So we really couldn't do anything else besides try again. We get back in hit the 1st floor again and this time we end up where we should have the first time. To this day we still talk about it and try to understand how it was possible but we haven't heard a logical explanation yet. (Reddit)

Not the Right Floor

I went to this huge and busy hospital to get a x ray of my spine done. Once there the receptionist told me to go to the 9th floor and then to the room 90-something. Simple enough, got into the elevator pressed the 9 and waited. When the door opened, I stepped out annnnd there was no one there, not a single soul. Lights were out but it was still somewhat bright as it was 2 on the afternoon. I walked around, the floor was completely silent, really creepy so I headed back to the elevator. It was still on my floor, got in, pressed 1st floor and there I was back at the reception.. Talked to the receptionist about what I've seen She said it was impossible, and asked another employee to show me the way. We got in the very same elevator, this time there were other people inside. I pressed the 9 and when the door opened it was filled with people, lights on, people talking, medical crews going back and forth... 2 things puzzle me to this day 1st. I'm 100% sure I was at the 9th floor on the first time, 2nd even if I were on the wrong floor, a hospital that busy would never have a whole floor simply "deactivated" for no apparent reason.. Anyways, I've got no reason to lie about it. Oh just before anyone says it, I watched stranger things waaaay after that happened to me. (Reddit)

So this happened a few years ago. I drove my mom to a doctor's appointment in a large city about an hour away from us. We are both very familiar with the city and area we were travelling to. I park on the third floor of the garage, we both take a mental note, then head to the elevator. We head up to the fourth floor and make our way to the doctor's office. Once we are done there we retrace our steps, like we have several times before, and make it to the elevators. We go down to the third floor. Immediately upon exiting the elevator we notice it is absolutely not the same floor. I walk back into the elevator to confirm we are in fact on the third floor. There were kiosks right outside the elevator that was not there before which is what sparked our confusion. We walk out to the parking spaces to where we were supposed to be and the entire floor was different. Upon exiting the elevator we were supposed to turn immediately rights and walk about 15 spots and our vehicle should have been to the left. Our vehicle was not in the spot we walked to. So confused as hell we went back to the elevator, took it to floor two and that's now right, took it to floor 4 and that's not right, so we took our chance with floor 3 again. Well this time it was right. We walk back to the exact same spot and not only did everything look familiar but hey our vehicle was there! Now my mom is a very successful person with a very level head on her. It was very eerie that she was spooked over this situation. So of course I was too. To this day we cant figure out what happened. Weird Experiences Inside an Elevator

I just got off work and walked to the parking garage. When I get there I take an elevator up to the 6th floor. I do this every day. The garage has a long hallway to walk down before you actually get to the elevators. Today I walked in behind a man and he got down the hall to the elevators before me. I saw him get in the elevator and the door shut. Maybe 3 seconds passed that the door was shut when I pressed the button to go up. The same elevator that he had JUST got in opened up for me... and it was empty.
There's absolutely no way that elevator went up a floor, dropped him there, and came back down that fast. It was literally maybe 4 seconds total. So where did he go?? There's no other exits and I saw him step in.
No idea what happened. (Reddit)

People disappearing in an elevator is one thing, but a person coming out of an empty elevator?

This just happened last night but it’s been creeping me out all day, I don’t even want to talk to my neighbor anymore.
So, I just moved into an apartment with my husband about a month ago, and we live on the 3rd floor out of 5. We made friends with this guy who lives on the 4th floor, and we have walked our dogs together a few times. He’s pretty cool, single and kind of shy, has a super cute really old black lab. Anyway, my husband wasn’t back from work yet, and I was moving some boxes of fall decor up to our apartment out of our storage unit on the first floor. I left about half of the boxes outside of the elevator, so I could just go up and down with them in two trips. On my second trip down, I rode the elevator down from the 3rd floor to the 1st by myself and stepped out to pick up a box when the door started to shut behind me. Just as the doors were about to close completely I hit the elevator button, and they reopened immediately, but my neighbor from the 4th floor was inside with his dog. I jumped when I saw him, which startled him as well, and he laughed at me. There is absolutely no way he walked in past me, you can clearly see the lobby just outside the elevator and nobody was there. There is absolutely no way the elevator went back to the 4th floor, he got on, and came back down because the doors had barely even touched before they reopened. The elevator normally takes several minutes to get to me on the 3rd floor as it’s the only one in our building and there are usually people trying to use it. He just got off with the dog to take her outside like it was completely normal that he had just shown up in the elevator out of nowhere and I haven’t seen him again since this happened. My husband thinks I’m crazy but I’m so freaked out by this. (Reddit)

During one of my business trips, I meet up with some clients to discuss some usual business-related objectives. I entered a super tall building where their office is located. The building was grand, towering at 441 ft making it the tallest building in that city. The lobby huge with a marble floor that, with the right shoes on, will make an echoing clicking sound that will have you feeling like you’re about to deposit a million dollars. The lobby was a bank, and one of the nicest bank lobbies I have ever seen. I walked towards the center of the building where the elevators are located. If I walked towards the left, there were would be 6 elevator doors (3 parallel from each other) waiting to take me the highest floor. If I walked to the right, I assume would be the same since I would see people entering and exiting that side of the building. Because of where I needed to be didn’t require me to utilize those elevators, I never got the chance to explore that side of the building. A fellow co-worker decided to stop by and join me on this business trip but didn’t arrive until a few hours later. Upon his arrival, we set out to have lunch, we exited the building and returned having a normal conversation with each other. As we were walking towards the elevator door (while conversing) I see a glimpse of woman with a red shirt and white long skirt enter the elevator my coworker and I was aiming at entering. The doors closed before we could enter. Because of the funny conversation my coworker and I were having, I didn’t think much of the woman walking into the elevator. My co-worker pressed the elevator button seconds after the elevator door that the woman entered closed. We thought that another elevator door would open. What happened next shocked us. The elevator door opened a few seconds after it closed, and my coworker and I entered apologizing to the lady only to find out she was no longer in there. We both looked at each other perplexed. I said, “didn’t a woman just walk in here?” and he replied, looking spooked, “Yea, a woman with red shirt and white skirt”. We rode up the elevator trying to figure what the heck happened. He thought it was a ghost, I thought it was another human from a parallel universe. Unfortunately for me, my worker refused to believe what he saw. I tell that story to a lot of people at work and try to get my co-worker to vouch for me, but he refuses to talk about it. I thought I would be alone in this story until another co-worker experienced the same thing when I recently meet up with her at the same building. She too was walking towards the elevator while talking on the phone. She said she saw a man in a hurry enter the elevator, and as the doors closed, she pushed the button for another elevator only for the same elevator to open with no one inside. My incident happened in early 2018 and her happened about 2 weeks ago. I am convinced this building is on some node where frequencies from our world and another intersect. My question is, what do those other people see when they notice the elevator doors reopen seconds after they closed with no one to be seen. (Reddit)

A Glitch In Time

I have had two time slips, the first when I was 11 years old. I was looking through my house window at home hoping to see mum. Instead, there was a man wearing brown trousers and a white shirt stood at the kitchen sink. Then I noticed that the kitchen was different very old fashioned with what I now know as a Belfast sink. I entered the house only to see that the man had disappeared and the kitchen was back to its 1979 norm. As a young boy, I was convinced this was a ghost.
Fast forward 39 years and I was walking up a street after parking my car to go buy some lunch and noticed a very old elevator with metal folding doors in a small factory. I had not even noticed the factory before, so I walk over to investigate. There was a man operating the elevator dressed in a brown work coat (similar to you find in old hardware stores) and a few people already in. The operator said to me "are you getting in or what?". I did jump in and the elevator went up a floor and everyone alighted. The operator then asked me if I was getting off. "No thanks, I need to go back" I replied and then I alighted back on the ground floor and made my way to my car. After crossing the road and opening my car door I turned to look at the factory. It was no longer there. Instead, there was a row of shops and cafes. This was in broad daylight during my lunch hour and certainly not a dream. Only then did I realise that this was similar to the man and the sink when I was a child. I just cannot stop thinking about it now. (Time Slip Accounts)
